National Assembly Summons President Buhari over Recession
The National Assembly has now summoned President Muhammadu Buhari to appear before the Senate and House of Representatives.
The summon was issued after a unanimous "yes vote" resounded, when it was put to vote by the Senate President yesterday, October 5, 2016 at the plenary session of the Senate.
With the invitation, President Buhari would address a joint-session of the National Assembly and would intimate the lawmakers on how his administration intends to get Nigeria out of the present economic recession facing the Country.
