Lagos launches On-line platform for State Laws

The Lagos State Government has reiterated its commitment to ensure that the laws of the State were obeyed by the residents. In light of this, the government has perfected plans to launch an On-line platform, where people all over the world, could access the laws enacted by the State since 1967, till date.
Speaking, on Tuesday December 8, 2015, at a well-attended launch of Laws of Lagos State, 2015, which was held at the Aderemi Bero Auditorium, Alausa, Ikeja, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, said that the on-line platform would not only enable investors and would-be investors to make informed decisions about investing in the State, but would also help them to appreciate the various legal protections available for their persons and investment.
He said that the Law Reform Commission of the State had been saddled with the task of developing the on-line platform, adding that the development was geared towards promoting a platform for accountability and responsibility, thereby fulfilling the obligation of the government to create easy access to the laws of the State.
